1. Sourcing management
- In charge and take ownership of all tactical sourcing activities for the assigned commodities or businesses.
- Participate and contribute to the execution of raw material sourcing strategies where applicable and per assignments.
- Manage the supplier network to bring benefits for the organization in terms of cost; cash; quality; on-time delivery; secured supply and safety.
- Take lead in communication and coordination between the business and supplier network in relevant purchasing context or projects.
- Understand and stay informed of raw material market evolution. Able to provide general insights into the supply & demand dynamics of the assigned materials or commodities.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency for purchasing records within the assigned scope.
- Manage and able to provide standard analysis of related purchasing data upon request.
- Drive suppliers’ actions in line with the Group's responsible purchasing and CO2 reduction programs..
2. Purchasing operations
- Process purchase orders; contracts; follow up on deliveries and assist suppliers on payment process.
- Lead the communication with suppliers and liaise with other department in driving corrective actions/preventive actions from suppliers for issues on quality; delivery; safety…
- Ensure all purchasing records are timely created; updated and archived in accordance with company policies.
- Lead the supplier evaluation process.
- Advise internal and external parties on issues related to purchasing compliance and terms & conditions.
3. Compliance
- Fully comply with company’s policies, code of conduct and ethical business practices.
- Understand and deploy ICRF (Internal Control and Risk Framework) as required by the Group and the Company.
- Complete all assigned trainings assigned by the Company.
4. Key Performance Indicators
- Cost saving: deflation (hard saving); cost avoidance; rebate; usage/productivity saving
- Cash: payment term improvement
- Secured supply
- Operation excellence
- Innovative material & product project
- Responsible purchasing & scope 3 emission programs
5. Undertake other tasks assigned by manager
1. Education
Bachelor’s degree in Economics; Business Management; Supply Chain Managements or relevant technical majors
2. Experience
At least 4 years of work experience in similar position for MNCs preferably in manufacturing/heavy industry sector
3. Interpersonal skills
Effective communication; individual contributor and team player; ethical & trustworthy; logical & critical thinking; data-driven mindset is a plus
4. Systems & computer skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites; having experience using ERP such as: SAP; Oracle; M3
5. Language
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
