Job details

Location: Noi Bai International Airport

Job type: Permanent

Sector: Operation

Job requirement:

Mechanics are responsible to the team CRS Staff when performing aircraft maintenance

Mechanics are responsible for head-set duties when assigned.

Perform ground handling tasks unsupervised and aircraft maintenance under the supervision

of the Team Leader.

Inform the team CRS Staff of findings or unexpected deficiencies as soon as practical

Sign for the work performed in “MECH” box in maintenance records, if the work was accomplished satisfactory.

Participate in department meetings and briefings as required

Inform the CRS Staff when maintenance tasks are completed and ready for inspection

Ensure the Operator Handling Form, is completed and signed by the customer representative

Additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge

Must have an Intermediate level /College degree related to Technical or higher

Skill

· Good in hand tool usage

· Must have basic mechanical skills.

· Speaking and writing English well.

· Good interpersonal communication skills.

Attitude:

Possess a can-do attitude.
Must take instruction and guidance well.
Must be goal oriented, have an exceptional attention to detail, and must work well in team situations and as an individual.
Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work any and all shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Experience:

Minimum 1 years of experience with the same position or equivalent.
If entry level, must have a strong work ethic and a strong desire to learn.

Personalities:

· Willing to learn, conscientious and enthusiastic.

· Being careful, cooperative, and achievement-driven attitude

Competencies required

A team player who enjoys working as part of a multi- cultural work force

Needs to be able to perform well under pressure

Southern Airports Aircraft Maintenance Services Co. Ltd (SAAM) provides technical and non-technical handling at Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat Airport, the largest and busiest airport in Vietnam. Additionally, SAAM provides defect rectification, AOG support, Non-Destructive Testing, cabin cleaning and aircraft polishing. SAAM is SIAEC’s sixth overseas line maintenance joint venture and the first line maintenance joint venture in Vietnam.
