Main Purpose of Job
o This role is responsible for implementing sourcing strategy to the designated projects and ensure smooth interface/communication with project team and other stakeholders. And he/she will identify and drive strategic sourcing projects along the entire procurement process, starting from supply market analysis, identifying new and innovative suppliers until negotiations, contract implementation and supplier performance and relationship management.
Main Responsibilities
o Scouting of new supplier and preliminary analysis of potential supplier.
o Manage RFQ, organize bidding for key projects, comparing and negotiate price.
o Purchasing spending analysis, cost saving, benchmark, value analysis, commercial solution, optimize supply chain, etc.
o Manage supplier (organize audit, yearly performance evaluation, contract, etc.) & optimize supplier base
o Niche market analysis for assigned categories, build cost model, dig out potential cost saving opportunities
o Involve in quality and delivery issue if needed, support supply chain in case of purchasing price deviation and other purchasing matters
o Follow the market: new technology, new supplier, etc.
o Any other jobs assigned by superior
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
o Bachelor’s degree or above
o More than 5 years working experience, procurement working experience in multinational company related to chemical or FMCG packaging category is preferred.
o It requires rich resources of raw materials, packaging materials and suppliers in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
o Good communication, analytical and project management skills.
o Know well about the business trends, market conditions, cost structure etc.
o Fluent in English & Vietnamese, Chinese is a plus.
o Self starter with good initiative and management skills. Able to take challenges positively, work to aggressive timelines and with minimal supervision
o Good integrity, independent and results oriented
o Location: base in Vietnam.
